Mobility Work at the Hannover Messe

From the 1st to the 5th of April 2019, Mobility Work attended the Hannover Messe 2019, in Germany, one of the biggest trade fairs dedicated to industrial technology in the world. This year’s edition put the spotlight on industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Hannover Messe: at the crossroads of industry 4.0 and AI

"The show was huge: there were 27 halls and it took us 30min to cross the entire place.”

Founded in 1947, this fair quickly became the unmissable event within the industry. Here are some figures to give you an overview of the 2019 edition: 27 halls, 215,000 visitors and 6,500 exhibitors from all over the world.

The Hannover Messe, real meeting point for startups and major companies, embodies tomorrow’s industry. With more than 500 innovative solutions of both the industry 4.0 and AI sectors, the fair may have succeeded in proving that companies’ digital transformation now is within our grasp.

The highlights of the show were the explanation of how the digital relationship between men and machine works in the AI era, the presentation of shared workspaces between men and robots in which robots organize themselves around humans, as well as the discovery of machine learning’s functions.

A week full of encounters

The Mobility Work team was able to discover the heart of the world's largest industrial exhibition and to present the first community platform dedicated to industrial maintenance, offering both a CMMS solution and an interface dedicated to industrial suppliers and manufacturers, Mobility Work Hub. We were able to take advantage of the strong presence of spare parts manufacturers to highlight Mobility Work Hub and create new contacts.

Frédéric Lefresne, sales representative for Mobility Work CMMS, explains: "We welcomed many visitors to the stand, from many regions and countries around the world: Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Asia... We encountered a lot of visitors and obtained contacts from people of various nationalities: they shared their interest in our CMMS solution, arguing that it is very easy to use and available in 13 languages! More specifically, we have met potential partners in Spain and Portugal and hope to develop a relationship with all the actors we had the opportunity to meet."

The multilingual Mobility Work maintenance community is constantly growing: it gathers 12,000 users in more than 85 countries and already convinced major French groups, who deployed this community-based CMMS, inspired by social networks.
