Once again this year, CES 2020, an internationally renowned tech show, brought together visitors from all over the world and saw inventions from all sectors pass by. Once again this year, Las Vegas was the scene of unprecedented technological innovations. For the third year in a row, part of the Mobility Work team flew to Nevada to present CMMS to international visitors!

5G and the Smart City in the spotlight at CES 2020

During the 2020 edition of CES, all eyes were on innovations related to the Smart City, thanks in particular to the 25% more exhibitors than last year specializing in this theme.

The companies present have redoubled their inventiveness to meet the challenges that our cities already face. Visitors to the show could therefore discover autonomous cars and other electric vehicles competing with Tesla, a pioneer in the field. This is good news when you know that EDF aims to establish itself as the leading energy supplier for electric cars on a European scale by 2022. The crowd also rave about Uber's crazy flying taxi project, in partnership with Hyundai!

At a time when the need for data and speed of transmission is becoming more and more important, the subject of 5G was on everyone's lips. Many companies have thus presented their solutions (computers and smartphones, connected cars, etc.) and the main American telecom companies have taken turns to praise this technology and commit to gradually deploying it.

A renewed interest in the industry

While we thought in recent years that the industrial sector was tending to decline, CES 2020 once again proved that innovations in this field had their rightful place in the tech landscape of this new decade. This is how Mobility Work, which offers a mobile and community maintenance management platform, available in SaaS and in total departure from counterintuitive and expensive traditional software, has found its audience.

The members of our team sent on site for the occasion had the chance to welcome no less than 300 visitors to their stand and to identify a hundred leads: that's three times more than last year!

Daphné, our communication manager, welcomed this success: “We were very successful! We enjoyed increased visibility thanks to our presence in the LVCC Central Hall and through word of mouth, as several delegations especially came to us during this week. We were thus honored to present Mobility Work to renowned companies.” A point of view shared by our event manager, Victorine: “I was very satisfied with CES 2020 as our location allowed us to gain visibility!”

An international exhibition full of promises

Among the visitors who came to discover Mobility Work, many of them came straight from countries in South and North America, Europe and Asia: all of them showed a certain interest in our application, as confirmed by Daphné: “As our solution was translated into 16 languages, its multilingual dimension seduced our visitors. It can be said that Mobility Work undeniably stands out as a global solution. In addition, seeing all these innovations focused on mobility and increasingly adapted to our daily lives and living spaces confirms that the Mobility Work solution is rooted in its time and offers an innovative and current approach.”

At the end of these five days full of emotion, the team sent on site was unanimous: “It was my very first time at CES and even in Las Vegas, and we can say that I was impressed by the scale of the show and by the diversity of the exhibitors!” testifies Alice, product marketing manager at Mobility Work. “Navigating through the heart of the global innovation show during this week was very inspiring.” This is also what Daphné and Victorine remember: “The team was blown away with all the news presented during the show! It is always interesting to see these futuristic innovations put forward by tech giants in this way.”

CES 2020 was the first major event of the new year, which gives us a glimpse of great prospects. See you next year to push the boundaries of technology even further and play with innovation!
