CMMS news: API and community | November 2019
Each month, find on our blog a summary of the news brought to the CMMS software (computer-aided maintenance management) from Mobility Work. The main news for October is our new public API feature, which now allows users who request it to connect their CMMS to other systems (ERP or others)!
Connect your CMMS to your ERP
This is the big news for the month of October: we have developed our first public API feature, which allows you to connect a system, such as ERP, to Mobility Work.
Thanks to this new feature, field teams can benefit from much better visibility on stock levels. Thus, they are in a position to better anticipate maintenance operations and to trigger activities. Finally, it is the possibility for technicians and maintenance managers to access essential information in real time.
Contact your suppliers in the CMMS
Users of our CMMS software can now contact the suppliers that interest them through the software, via chat.
Mobility Work in fact provides professionals in the sector with catalogs of suppliers or manufacturers of machines and consumables. Thus, they just need to go to the Report or Company tab to access the list of companies registered on the platform. In a few clicks, they find the equipment they need.
If until now you could contact them by email, you can now chat directly with suppliers whose products or services interest you.
A better grip thanks to our new guided tour
To guide you in getting started with CMMS, our teams worked on a guided tour (onboarding), which you will find as soon as you first use the tool.
Mobility Work was designed as a SaaS community platform that requires no training. Once you have registered your equipment in the software, you can directly create tasks, activities and maintenance plans, trigger activities, access your calendar... In short, it is an easy to learn and intuitive solution.
Find the latest news easily
For the sake of transparency, you now have access to the Helpcenter article, which includes all the latest functionalities developed by our teams, directly from your software (information available in French and English).
The News button, located at the top right of your screen, therefore allows you to follow the news from your software and to keep up to date with current projects!
Mobility Work now available in 16 languages
As our CMMS is available in more than 80 countries, a new language has arrived!
The web version of the tool is now available in Romanian, which supports our ambition to impose ourselves on the international market and to continue to develop the first social network for industrial maintenance. Our platform has been designed for all professionals in the sector and is aimed at small businesses as well as SMEs or large international groups.
