CMMS news: continuous improvement and speech recognition | March 2020

Each month, Find on our blog a summary of the new features brought to the CMMS software (computer-aided maintenance management) from Mobility Work. In February, we present to you the major new features that improve the web interface of your community platform.

Save time with speech recognition

By opting for a next-generation CMMS solution, you plan to save precious time during your various interventions. For this reason, the web version of our maintenance management platform now allows you to enter text by voice when searching for equipment or when you fill in the description fields of your tasks and equipment.

The objective of such a feature is, once again, to allow maintenance teams to gain fluidity and speed to avoid any loss of information. Without an adapted CMMS, maintenance professionals must remember the tasks they have carried out sometimes since the morning and are therefore more likely to unwittingly omit information that is sometimes crucial.

In addition, technicians no longer waste their time typing the details of their interventions on the computer but enter them orally in a few seconds.

Application available in Dutch

Mobility Work can pride itself on being an international CMMS solution, since in addition to being used in more than 100 countries, it is now available in 17 languages! Dutch has indeed recently arrived on the platform, and is therefore added to French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Chinese...

Our next-generation maintenance management platform is intended to be community based: it allows client companies to discuss maintenance issues or best practices easily and in all languages.

A CMMS that focuses on continuous improvement

Like every month, we continue to improve our community maintenance management tool. Our new generation application evolves over time to meet the needs of our customers as much as possible: after announcing the update of the design of our mobile applications (Android and iOS), our teams have thus evolved that of the web interface, to guarantee you smooth navigation and quick handling.

Other new features include, for example, the automatic addition of labels for the equipment selected in the task creation form, or the imminent arrival of a feature allowing new users, once their trial period is over, to order the licenses they want directly in their CMMS software.
