CMMS and ISO 9001 version 2015 audit: Béricap's testimony

Hubert Marion is responsible for maintenance services (machines, infrastructures, infrastructures, molds and the machining of parts inherent to molds) at the corkmaker. Bericap France - Bericap Vittel (88) and Bericap Longvic (21) sites. Converted by one of his colleagues to the new generation CMMS Mobility Work, a real maintenance management platform, he tells us about his experience.
How did you find out about Mobility Work CMMS?
When I arrived at Bericap, I met a colleague who had worked with Marc-Antoine Talva (founder of Mobility Work, editor's note) in his previous company. My colleague was responsible for maintenance on their joint site, and Mr. Talva was responsible for setting up a CMMS tool : this is how they collaborated on the subject of maintenance management. Indeed, the tools then used were neither effective nor operational: this is for to overcome these shortcomings that Mobility Work was created.
My colleague started using this tool on the old site, before introducing it to Bericap when he arrived. He then asked me to deploy the solution more widely. This is how we started using it as early as July 2017 on the Longvic and Vittel sites.
It was the ease of use that convinced me the most; being maintenance manager, I was entitled to choose the GMAO that my collaborators would use and I was convinced by the possibility of having access to a SaaS tool, available on phones as well as tablets or landlines. The ease of use and implementation of the system played a major role.

Is the Mobility Work platform already in place in your company?
We started using the tool in July 2017. July and August being a vacation period, we were not very productive, but as soon as we started in September, we were operational very quickly. At the end of October, 80% of the tool was deployed; it is now 100% operational on the Longvic site.
This success is particularly evident during demonstrations to listeners: in fact, we succeeded successfully the ISO 9001 version 2015 audit, during which Mobility Work particularly stood out. We also presented the tool during the AIB audit (American Institute of Baking, food safety hygiene) as a key point in our maintenance management, during which the auditor highlighted the fact that the auditee was “passionate about using Mobility Work”, as well as during FDA checks (Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Food and Drug Administration).
At the same time, since Tetrapak is one of our customers, we were able to present the platform in Tetra Audit, which is very specific, while knowing that the maintenance management of molds, infrastructures and machines was based entirely on Mobility Work. Once again, the effectiveness of the tool was highlighted.
What do you think are the advantages of this application?
The implementation of the tool within the company: we were equipped with a GMAO aging, which was also not the same on the two French sites. Between September and October, i.e. in less than 2 months, we managed to set up more than 80% of the equipment on both sites, and we were very quickly operational. This applies to maintenance personnel as well as to quality or production personnel. This ease of implementation is a major advantage for us.
What is the feature that you use the most?
It's about creating equipment, which I especially like how easy it is. He is very easy to integrate equipment into a line, and to add links: I can thus link my cap to my mold, my mold to my press, my press to my conveyor, and all this way is done thanks to the GMAO. I can then add labels, linked to a customer or to a typical product, for example a family of corks. It is then very easy to find them using the search tool.

What are your company's future projects?
Today, we are actively using Mobility Work, and the group's shareholders are aware of this. In the medium term, they will be convinced of the usefulness of the application, the aim being subsequently to implement the tool in the 24 sites of the Bericap group present all over the world: United States, Canada, Latin America, Middle East, Middle East, China, China, China, China, China, China, China, China, China, Southeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South East Asia, Russia, North Africa, etc.
Are you satisfied with the responsiveness of our team?
The team reacts quickly, I can easily get members of the technical team on the phone. As soon as we have a problem we get a very quick response, including in the application thanks to the online support.”
