CMMS news: QR codes, search and data export | November 2020

Each month, find on our blog a summary of the news brought to the CMMS software (computer-aided maintenance management) Mobility Work.

Thanks to the work of our teams during the month of October, you will be able to take advantage of several new features on your enforcement. Among these, discover the new task search page and the possibility of printing QR codes, equipment and spare parts directly from the “search” function. We also wanted to improve the “export of activities” function and the form for creating tasks. Finally, if you want to put documentation for your equipment, tasks and maintenance plans online, know that you can import all your documents in XLSM format.

New task search page

We want our functionalities to be readable and accessible: thus, they are regularly updated, in order to offer you a pleasant and easy to use interface.

This month, the first thing we want to show you is the task search page. Highly appreciated by many users, our teams have implemented a new version of this feature to allow you to better visualize important information.

Print your data from the search

For Mobility Work, the objective has always been to support maintenance professionals in their daily work. We apply this philosophy in all of our decisions about our GMAO, especially during the development of new functionalities. Thanks to your numerous feedback, we understood that printing your data was an important element in carrying out your maintenance operations successfully.

Thus, you now have the possibility to print QR codes, equipment and spare parts directly from the “search” function.

Easily export your activities and task creation forms

Improving our functionalities is an essential step in the development process of our application of GMAO. The needs of our users are often similar to maintenance: they are precise and evolve rapidly.

This month, we have therefore chosen to focus on exporting activities and to improve some of its functionalities, in order to allow you to more freely use counters and labels, two fundamental aspects of our GMAO. Indeed, meter management is one of the activities essential to the maintenance of your machine park and labels (or tags) allow you to customize a set of information and to obtain more accurate feedback on your maintenance interventions.

Another objective in October was to improve the task creation form. Available from the news feed, you can integrate the groups of mandatory labels.

Import all your files into your CMMS

Uploading documents online is a task that sometimes suffers from computer laws.

On a daily basis, it is not uncommon to encounter an error message, because the file we want to import is not in the correct format. This is a real waste of time. Thus, thanks to our latest changes, it is now possible for you to upload your files of type XLSM for your tasks, equipment or maintenance plans.
