Follow your news in real time from your community CMMS

La Mobility Work community CMMS proposes an approach similar to that of social networks. Our aim is to make it easier for maintenance technicians to access the information they need for their daily activities. By drawing inspiration from the applications we use on a daily basis, we saw the gap that remained with our current work tools. Professional applications are still too often unintuitive and difficult to use.

A community CMMS for real-time monitoring

Following this observation, we decided to solve this problem by developing a news feed simplified. This allows all stakeholders to monitor their maintenance operations and to obtain information in real time. Ultimately, the transmission of this information facilitates decision-making.

In this way, you can access all the information relating to your network from the mobile or web version of your CMMS, such as:

  • ongoing repairs or maintenance interventions;
  • requests for intervention arising from production;
  • the last spare parts added;
  • the latest documentation posted online;
  • the latest maintenance plans created;
  • the latest ranges added;
  • the planned interventions of a service provider.

Classify and filter your interventions

Thanks to the “labels” feature that allows you to tag interventions, you can get more information about your maintenance operations at a glance. For example, the intervention class (electrical, mechanical, boiler making, automation, etc.), the type of intervention (preventive, corrective, improvement, etc.), the worker, the status of the intervention using a color system (red if the task is in progress, green if the task is completed). But also other additional information, such as possible integration into a maintenance plan.

You can at any time apply filters to your news feed for example, to track only tasks with the “safety” label, or only interventions that are in progress on a production line. Many customers of our community CMMS are choosing to install display screens on their production line and to display its news in real time. The same thing could be possible on your bottleneck machines, to monitor the operations on the critical machines in your equipment fleet in real time.

One of the advantages of the news feed is its ability to transmit field information in real time. Indeed, we were able to observe that in many factories, before the arrival of community CMMS, there was a gap between the various maintenance stakeholders. For example, the morning team performed an operation without informing the afternoon team, which sometimes led to the same intervention being repeated during the day. It could also be that the team was not aware of recurring problems with certain equipment.

The application also makes it possible to avoid data entries by technicians several hours after performing an operation. If these had been entered in real time, the information might have allowed a production manager to make a different decision.
