Consult the maintenance history in your CMMS

Visualizing maintenance work in progress or interventions completed is essential for any operator or maintenance manager. CMMS must allow all actors in the company to be able to quickly access data and maintenance history of its equipment.
How to access the maintenance history from your CMMS?
La community maintenance management platform Mobility Work makes it easy for you to access your equipment data. To do this, the maintenance technician must first search for his equipment via the search function in his CMMS.
Once the equipment sheet is open, it can display several tabs:
- all tasks;
- tasks in progress;
- calendar;
- related equipment;
- documents;
- task documents;
- top 5;
- counter.
Let's focus on the first 3 tabs, which centralize all the information on maintenance operations carried out or in progress on this equipment.The “” tab all tasks ” includes all the maintenance interventions carried out on your equipment present in your CMMS software. It corresponds to the maintenance history of your equipment, and represents a real source of data for technicians and maintenance managers.
Les interventions are sorted from the most recent to the oldest according to the date of completion. The green tasks correspond to the tasks completed in the CMMS, and the tasks in red correspond to the tasks in progress. Each intervention is accompanied by a Photo of the equipment, the expected date of completion, the intervention time and a cost center. We also find all of the activities performed on an intervention. An activity is a maintenance action performed by a technician. We therefore find the description of the activity, the time spent and the date the activity was carried out.
The search bar allows you to quickly search for a task using one or more keywords. For example, you can sort all the operations including the words “translation problem” in your maintenance history on the desired equipment.
The tab” tasks in progress ” works exactly the same as the “all tasks” tab. The objective is to allow the maintenance technician to quickly see if a task has already been created by one of his colleagues working on the same problem as him, and thus toavoid duplicates in the history of the CMMS software.
The tab” schedule ” contains all the maintenance operations carried out on the equipment. It shows all the tasks archived in green, the overdue tasks in red, the scheduled tasks in yellow and the tasks from a maintenance plan in blue, as well as the total intervention time over the selected date range. It is also possible to change thecalendar display of your CMMS software (month, week or day). On each task, you will be able to view the description of the maintenance intervention as well as the people assigned to the intervention. To move a task, simply dragging the intervention to the desired day is sufficient.
You can also visualize all the tasks and activities on an equipment via the search function of the Mobility Work CMMS application. To do this, apply a filter to the name of your equipment and select “filter”. The interventions displayed will only concern the equipment on which the filter is applied. If you wish, you can filter this list by changing the following settings:
- task status (all tasks/tasks in progress/tasks archived);
- maintenance plan (all tasks/tasks outside of the maintenance plan/tasks resulting from a maintenance plan);
- users assigned to the task;
- users who have completed an activity;
- the labels;
- a cost center;
- a start date;
- an end date.
You can also upload in the Mobility Work CMMS software, the list of the results of your maintenance interventions on your equipment in Excel format (.xls and .csv) as well as in PDF format.
Finally, the analytics module allows you to filter operations on equipment and to visualize the maintenance history and all the operations carried out in a more synthetic way. For more information, do not hesitate to watch our tutorial on the analysis tool in our Mobility Work CMMS software.
