Simplify the machine tree in your CMMS software

One of the key criteria for the adoption of a CMMS by maintenance technicians is the simplification of research and access to information. However, there is still often a gap between traditional maintenance tools and everyday applications, which are much easier to use. The degree of complexity of the search and the machine tree illustrates this discrepancy.
User experience: the bet on new generation CMMS software
That is the reason why the Mobility Work CMMS focuses on the user experience, and offers a simple and effective search function. This allows you to search for a spare part or equipment using its name, description or keywords. Simplifying the entry of equipment and the destructuring of data make it possible tosearch by keywords without having to go through multiple levels of machine tree.
For example, if you are looking for the translation engine for your loading bridge in the fusion sector of your company, all you have to do is enter the following keywords: “fusion load bridge translation engine”. This way, you will have direct access to your equipment. This is a different approach from other CMMS, which will take you through the “fusion” sector, on the “loading bridge”, through the “translation” sub-equipment and finally on the engine, which takes more time for a similar result.
Once you have completed your search, four categories are available to you:
- My equipment : these are the results of your search within your equipment park
- All the equipment : here are the results among the equipment of the entire Mobility Work community and industrial groups.
- Official equipment : are you looking for the official technical documentation for an equipment? In this menu are listed the official catalogs, which are updated by the manufacturers themselves.
- Unofficial equipment : a failure occurs in your fleet and you don't have the spare part? This menu allows you to search for it among a catalog of 60 million spare parts.
You can also refine the result of your search in your CMMS using the following filters:
- all equipment;
- equipment without recurring tasks (which allows you to display a list of equipment on which no maintenance plan has been carried out);
- equipment with a recurring task, which will allow you to display the list of your machines for which a maintenance plan has been implemented;
- equipment where a specific technician has been involved;
- equipment with a specific cost center;
- equipment with a label (pressure equipment, asbestos, etc.);
- list of equipment on which maintenance was carried out between two dates;
- filter only spare parts;
- list of spare parts with a specific location, maximum or minimum quantity, minimum or maximum price;
- list of spare parts whose stock is below the minimum limit.
