BBH Mobility Work CMMS partnership

Mobility Work's community of maintenance partners continues to grow with the arrival of BBH Technology. This technical industrial project management firm offers its services to companies in the South of France and supports them in particular in the optimization and digitization of their maintenance.

Aymeric Longin, founder and director of BBH Technology, introduces us to his company and the partnership with Mobility Work.

Could you quickly present your company, BBH Tech, to us?

BBH Tech offers 3 main types of services to businesses in the South of France:

  • Investment Project Management (management of CCTP schedules and budgets to the commissioning of equipment and the training of teams);
  • Improving operational performance, mainly for VSEs and SMEs (performance diagnosis, modeling and improvement of business processes, deployment of digital tools);
  • Maintenance expertise (diagnosis of production support processes, optimization of maintenance plans, outsourcing management, performance monitoring).

In all cases, we enable our customers to optimize their costs. For VSES/SMEs, for example, we provide them with engineering skills in continuous improvement or maintenance, which they do not generally have internally.

What is the partnership between BBH Technology and Mobility Work?

Our collaboration is divided into 2 parts. The first part, which is already active, consists in the promotion of Mobility Work CMMS solution With our customers who call on our expertise to Improve and optimize their maintenance.

The second part, which is currently being finalized, is more technical: for us it is aboutSupport new Mobility Work users in the deployment of CMMS, or to help businesses that already use the application to make greater use of it to improve their maintenance performance. For example, this may involve the installation of connected sensors, the definition of a policy for the versatility of maintenance technicians or the improvement of multi-site communication to develop feedback on safety or performance.

BBH Technology et Mobility Work

What led you to set up this partnership with Mobility Work?

At first, I hesitated, as a consultant, to offer a single CMMS solution to all my customers. I finally established a set of specifications around the main principles of TPM and the possibilities offered by Industry 4.0.: Mobility Work stood out from the crowd. I then decided to train myself to make the most of the performances of this CMMS in order to deploy it effectively and quickly to new users.

I consider this partnership to be relevant, especially as it increases my customers of the costs of a comparative study of the various solutions when I already know that, in most cases, Mobility Work will bring them quick and lasting gains. I am very transparent on this point with my customers and my mastery of the tool in addition to its intrinsic qualities is a real added value for them.

Why did you choose Mobility Work CMMS to set up this partnership?

The choice of Mobility Work is the result of my professional career and my personal reflection on maintenance management tools.

On the one hand, during my experiences as a maintenance provider - within the ADF Group for example, I often asked myself why “classic” CMMS are so unintuitive and ergonomic when many ERPs are, for example with portability modules, the possibility of scanning bar codes... I also noticed from several customers that they were using Powerful Tools But Very Tedious To Fill In : they then have a very good analytical tool but which is based on false and/or incomplete data, which greatly complicates their analysis.

On the other hand, I found it surprising, for example, that different maintenance departments in the same group did not communicate at all with each other. So they dealt with their problems on their own, and no one else benefited from their feedback.

Finally, I was looking for a very portable solution, very proactive in terms of computer security, because I have had several customers who have repeated attacks and this trend is intensifying. Few industrial groups today have an IT department capable of guaranteeing the security of their management systems themselves, and Mobility Work 27001 certification Is Very Reassuring From that point of view.

Mobility Work CMMS therefore seemed to me to be the most suitable solution to meet the needs of most companies: It is very intuitive and very easy to adopt by maintenance teams, and its community operation considerably increased communication within teams and even between different factories in the same industrial group. This operation also makes it possible to share good security or performance practices.

In addition, the fact of having Supplier catalogs integrated into the CMMS He has real more. This can be a powerful driver of gain in the purchasing/procurement process for Mobility Work users.

What advice would you give to businesses that are hesitant to adopt a CMMS?

Maintenance management is a complicated subject.. There may therefore be the temptation to reduce maintenance to a minimum, and in particular to leave preventive maintenance aside. In the short term this makes it possible to save money, but in the long term this strategy proves to be a disaster.

Adopting a CMMS solution is certainly profitable, but it is complicated to calculate an ROI on an investment of several tens or hundreds of thousands of euros (to which maintenance and MCO costs will have to be added). On the other hand, it is quite simple to correlate the burden of a license rental with the improvement of the performance of the maintenance process: reduction in hours without added value, reliability and availability of information, training assistance, etc.

In fact, Decision-making is much easier for manufacturers by choosing a CMMS like Mobility Work. Thanks to the ease of entering information, without any re-entry (which is common in maintenance), thanks to Supplier Catalogs, the saving of time for maintenance teams and therefore the financial gain for the company is quite obvious and does not require modeling over 4 years, imagining breakdowns, etc., to consider making the 150,000 euros profitable, for example, invested in a conventional CMMS solution.

Finally, I advise businesses to Do not underestimate the human aspect of deploying a CMMS. By choosing a modern and ergonomic solution such as Mobility Work, they value maintenance teams: technicians thus have the feeling that they are taken into account by offering them a solution that is easy to use and adapted to their daily work. I have noticed a real appetite among technicians of all ages for the implementation of a CMMS of this type. This energizes teams and promotes their adoption of the tool, and therefore the overall productivity of the company.
